I have loved photography ever since I took a black and white class as an elective at Augusta State University in 1996. For quite a few years after college, I drifted away from my true passion and found quite a few others, such as being married and raising a 2 year old daughter. Watching her grow up so fast has made me realize just how important capturing those special moments should be!
After shooting a few pre-prom shots and an engagement session for some very close friends of mine last year, I found the love of photography again that I had missed for so long. So, in February 2009, I started Michelle Wallen Photography and could not be happier.
The ability to capture nature's raw beauty as well as the beauty of so many wonderful milestones in your life is what I strive for. I currently specialize in small weddings, family portraits, and special events such as prom or senior pictures.
